As a label that has come to represent Melbourne fashion to such a degree, it is clear that Alpha60's creators, Alex and Georgie Cleary have come a long way from the rose farm where they spent their childhood. This complimentary duo have created a unique, inimitable label known for its fresh, graphic take on classic styles and cuts. Unwilling to put constrains on their passionately creative approach, the pair have embraced a range of influences, with everyone from Kate Moss to Jean-Luc Godard to Alfred E Newman making unexpected appearances.

The label launched in 2002 when it was picked up by distributors, first across Australia and then through Japan, New York and France.
