Kat’s illustrations have appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, Madison, Frankie and Nylon (us). She studied graphic design and was employed by 3deep Design where she made a name for herself by illustrating the award-winning book Bird.

She also worked at Fabio Ongarato Design, then embarked on a freelance career with clients including Collette dinnigan, Big by Fiona Scanlan and the Australian Ballet. Her second illustrated book, The Cocktail, was published in 2005. She is now a co-director of graphic design studio, Ortolan.

Her illustrations are regular features of michigirl, The Age (melbourne) Magazine and Vogue E+T.
